| Inverse Multiplexer - The output signal distributed on up to 8 E.1' in parallel (16 Mbit/s) Transmission of one ASI/TS video stream via a 34/45 or 140 Mbit/s network connection is often either far too expensive, or it may even not be possible to make such a network connection available for transport of the video signal. Employing the 1990 I-MUX eliminates this major problem in a cost efficient manner. The I-MUX will facilitate flexible transport of the ASI/TS signal via standard inexpensive E.1's in parallel (max. 8). For error free transmission via non error protected links the unit includes programmable Reed-Solomon forward error correction (4 or 16 bit). |
